Right to Believe
PrintAcross the world millions of Christians are denied their basic right to religious liberty. They are looking to us to walk with them... on our knees in prayer and on our feet in action.
The Right to Believe campaign is a call on the UN to stand up for religious liberty. 57 Islamic countries are trying to push the ‘Defamations of Religion Resolution’ through this December. Its supporters claim that it protects religious freedom, but in fact it does the exact opposite. It allows governments the power to say which religious views can and can’t be expressed in their country, and it gives the state the right to punish those who express other religious views- effectively making persecution legal.
We’re calling on the church in the UK to join the campaign and stand up for freedom and justice and the ‘Right to Believe’. We believe that every person has the right to choose and practice their religion based on their convictions and their conscience, rather than their family of birth, ethnicity or people group.
Unite with thousands of others across the world; join the Right to Believe campaign, to call on the United Nations to reject the Defamation of Religions Resolution.
