Session 2 - The different stages of mentoring - How do you begin a mentoring relationship? How long should it continue? How do you know if it's working or not? When is it time to move on?

Session 3 - Key skills in mentoring - asking good questions and listening to the answers; dealing with expectations and barriers; building rapport and planning for action. Making sure your questions are relevant for the age group you are working with.

Session 4 - Being a good mentor - knowing your limitations; accountability; dealing with success and failure.

Every participant will receive materials to support the learning during the day. There'll also be an opportunity to buy recommended books.
