Overview of the Influencers Course
Session 1 - Catch The Vision
The aim of this session is to help you see the need for God to be at work in your community, through you. God has a vision that every generation will know Him, experiencing His very best life both now and for all eternity. He has called you to get involved in seeing that vision become a reality.
Session 2 - Jesus In The Corridors
The aim of this session is to consider more about what it means to do what Jesus would do if He was physically at your school today.
Session 3 - Spirit Empowered
Living as a Christian can be tough at times, but God has not left us without help. In this session we'll discover how the Holy Spirit helps us to follow Christ.
Session 4 - Knowing The Father
The aim of this session is to help you understand the nature of God as Father, and to understand why this is so important for your Christian walk.
Session 5 - Kingdom Living
The aim of this session is to help you understand what the Kingdom of God is, and the role you have within it.
Session 6 - The Ideal Insider
The aim of this session is for you to see how God can use you individually and specifically through the gifts He has given you, rooted in a heart to serve people.
Session 7 - Counting The Cost
The aim of this session is to help you understand that there is a cost to following Jesus. We need to hold tightly to our hopes and dreams in the knowledge that God always knows best. Following Jesus and caring for others comes at a price but we do it to know the joy of serving Christ.
Session 8 - The Influencer
The aim of this session is to show how we have a leadership responsibility to bring Godly influence to the world around us.
Session 9 - The Shepherd
The aim of this session is to help us to understand the difference between shepherds and sheep. Which are we, and how will this effect all that we do and everyone we should influence.
Session 10 - Learning Through God's Discipline
Session 4 looked at the nature of God as Father. It looked at the fact that one of God's roles as Father is that He disciplines us so that we can reach our potential. This session looks at this in more detail as we continue to learn and grow under His discipline.
Session 11 - Learning Through Self-discipline
Session 10 looked at the importance of learning by allowing God to lovingly discipline us. This session looks at the importance of learning through self-discipline.
Session 12 - Spread The Word
The aim of this session is to look at the importance of telling people about Jesus so that they have an opportunity to know him.
Session 13 - Shout It Out!
The aim of this session is to take time to clearly understand the answer to the question 'What is the good news about Jesus?'
Session 14 - Helping People On Their Journey
In this session we look at how we can help people as they move towards God.
Session 15 - How 2
The aim of this session is to help you to develop and implement a vision for establishing a Christian Group and activities specifically in your school or college.
