Urban Saints has a long history of encouraging teenagers and young adults into leadership and providing a wide range of leadership development opportunities within the Christian community.
Into Action is a training programme aimed at young people aged 14+. It’s a yearlong, on-the-job training resource specifically produced for emerging leaders in any Christian youth and children’s group.
The course is designed to provide a good grounding in some of the key areas of youth and children’s work that all helpers need to know when starting in their role. Young people will be given a course book to help them track their journey and access video content to support their learning.
Working with a coach (an experienced Leader in your group) young people will gain practical experience and, on completion of the course, a certificate of achievement. If you have young people in your group who are ready to step up into leadership then Into Action is the perfect tool to help them develop their skills…..and help you run your group!
Into Action can be started at any time but the beginning of a new academic year is an ideal point to start the programme.
