As Christians, we are called to be in the world but not of the world (John 17:14–15). This means that instead of living in a ‘bubble’, we should recognise injustices in the world, such as poverty, discrimination, the refugee crisis, slavery, etc. And by being Jesus’ light and salt in the world, we should be able to be an ambassador for Christ, representing his kingdom to those who do not yet know him.
